  • 1988

    Can Art is born. 45,000 sq facility in Mississauga with (One) 7” press.

  • 1995

    110,000 sq ft Greenfield facility constructed in Brampton, Ontario to accommodate (Two) 7” extrusion presses.

  • 2000

    120,000 sq ft Greenfield facility constructed in the town of Windsor Ontario to accommodate (Two) 7” extrusion presses.

  • 2005

    70,000 sq ft addition added to the Windsor facility to accommodate (One) 9” press.

  • 2012

    Can Art Anodizing is born. 45,000 sq ft facility in Mississauga.

  • 2016

    50/50 Joint Venture between Can Art and Tier 1 Partner to create Astrex Inc. with (One) 10” press.

  • 2017

    20,000 sq ft addition to the Brampton facility to accommodate (One) 8” press.

  • 2019

    120,000 sq ft Greenfield facility constructed in the town of Windsor to accommodate (One) 8” press and (One) 9” press.

  • 2024

    175,000 sq ft Greenfield facility being built with the capability of housing 3 additional presses, the first of which will be operational in Q3 2024.

Our Footprint

Can Art has taken significant steps in ensuring that we promote an environmentally responsible culture throughout our manufacturing processes. We are continuously increasing throughput of LEED-compliant recycled billet utilized in our operations. Can Art produces millions of lbs of extrusion derived from recycled raw material each and every year.
