Duties:
Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal;
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment;
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications;
- Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines;
- Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
Punch presses; Power presses
Metal Forming or Shaping Operations Experience:
Forming
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods
